The cadrèga, which in Milanese old dialect means chair, represents the symbol of our typically Milanese way of approaching life with humour and joy.
We gather around with our cadrègas to chat, eat together, and spend time with each other, sharing not only food, but also stories, experiences and lots of laughter!
The term cadrega is now famous throughout Italy thanks to an epic gag portraited by the Milanese comic trio Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo, in which an unsuspecting Count Dracula is subjected to the legendary inganno della cadrega (“the cadrega deception”): we feel represented by it because it is funny and traditionally Milanese like us!
